Hi guys, I'm Alyssa- the face behind Bake My Day. Baking has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, but in May 2024, I officially turned my lifelong passion into a business. Every dessert that leaves my kitchen is made with the utmost attention to detail, love, and care — because I believe that every bite should be as beautiful as it is delicious. From custom cakes to gourmet cookies and cinnamon rolls, I pour my time, creativity, and heart into every single order.As a military family, we know all too well that moving across the country has become our "normal,” and with each move comes new opportunities to share my love for baking. Along the way, I’m joined by loving husband, Isaiah, and three sweet dogs. Goose, my Great Dane, Ducky, my Goldendoodle, and Aspen, my Silver Lab! Now, I’m thrilled to be growing Bake My Day from sunny California to the breathtaking landscapes of Alaska. Sherri Borchert is a talented local home food artisan based in Anchorage, Alaska. With her cottage bakery, she specializes in creating a delectable variety of sweet treats, including cupcakes, cakes, muffins, drop cookies, shortbread, and homemade candies. Sherri's passion for baking shines through in her creations, which are made with love and attention to detail.

Recently, Sherri took to social media to share her exciting baking adventures. She raved about trying Nothing Bundt Cakes, after hearing about them on her favorite baking podcast, and praised their soft, fluffy, and moist cakes topped with thick and tangy cream cheese icing. Sherri's skills were showcased further as she posted photos of her masterpieces, including a stunning 2-tier cake with alternating layers of strawberry and lemon blueberry, frosted with luscious lemon buttercream. She also delighted in creating a graduation cake for UAA, featuring a chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream. Another playful creation was a race track pull apart cake, with funfetti flavored cupcakes and a combination of vanilla and chocolate buttercreams. Finally, Sherri shared her triumph of a grand opening cake for Beary Cool Yogurt, a 12" 3-layer lemon blueberry masterpiece with matching Funfetti cupcakes, weighing a whopping 21lbs. With her skill, creativity, and attention to detail, Sherri is a true gem in the Anchorage bakery scene.
