They are a family-run business, with the family behind the counter creating a menu from scratch and baking everything in-house. In addition to their delicious baked goods, they also roast their own coffee. They recently made an announcement that their business is for sale, as they are ready to support their kids in pursuing their dreams. However, they plan to continue running the bakery in the winters and explore new avenues for the summers. They are known for their themed dinners and seasonal treats, such as their homemade Pumpkin Rum Cake Pops, which have gained popularity. The community support for 55North Bakery & Coffee has been overwhelming, with enough cake requests to fund new costumes for the upcoming Nutcracker performance through Ketchikan Theatre Ballet.
