My story

I've always enjoyed baking, but it became even more worthwhile back when I was teaching middle school art in Mississippi. My students often had a lot on their minds, and I noticed they were rarely engaged in class. So, I baked them cookies. To my surprise, those cookies often turned into meaningful conversations, and I felt like I was finally able to do my job of connecting with my students. Since then, I've baked hundreds of cookies, macarons, and loaves of bread. And so many of those have turned into connections.
