Our Story

We’re Michael + Madison, the proud owners of Kersten Cakes and Bakes. Everything we create is handcrafted, completely from scratch right here in Central Arkansas! Our goal is to create beautiful, bespoke bakes that taste as good as they look; and aren’t full of preservatives. We source as many of our wholesome ingredients locally as we can, and our delicious bakes are always made fresh-to-order, just for you! We’re a husband + wife team, with 2 beautiful babies and passion for great food. We’ve both been baking since we were little kids; and together we’ve curated a delicious collection of tried-and-true family recipes that we can’t wait to share with you! Thanks for being here :)

Indulge in a custom-made cake from Kersten Cakes and Bakes. Every cake is handcrafted with love, from-scratch, and made fresh-to-order with the finest gourmet + locally-sourced ingredients. Each order is a personalized masterpiece; combining the delicious taste of homemade flavors, with the beauty and intricacy of hand-piped design. Please note, the listed price is the base price for a standard cake of our smallest size (2-4 serving 2-Layer 4” Smash Cake). Custom pricing will be determined and a final quote issued within 48 hours of sending in your order form.
