We’re Michael + Madison, the proud owners of Kersten Cakes and Bakes. Everything we create is handcrafted, completely from scratch right here in Central Arkansas! Our goal is to create beautiful, bespoke bakes that taste as good as they look; and aren’t full of preservatives. We source as many of our wholesome ingredients locally as we can, and our delicious bakes are always made fresh-to-order, just for you! We’re a husband + wife team, with 2 beautiful babies and passion for great food. We’ve both been baking since we were little kids; and together we’ve curated a delicious collection of tried-and-true family recipes that we can’t wait to share with you! Thanks for being here :)

Although they are not currently taking custom orders, Kathleen Lawson is always creating new and exciting baked goods.

In a recent post, Kathleen congratulated her parents on their 50th wedding anniversary and shared a cake she made inspired by their original wedding cake. While not an exact replica, it was a fun and unique creation. She also reminisced about her journey as a baker, starting with making her son's birthday cake three years ago. Now the proud owner of her own cottage bakery, she continues the tradition of making his cake. She recently made a three-layer cookies and cream cake to celebrate his special day. In other posts, Kathleen showed her love for Barbie and asked followers to tap twice if they were wearing Barbie pink. GM Sweets is a local home food artisan based in Maumelle, AR, specializing in delicious, homemade baked goods. Although custom orders are not available at this time, GM Sweets offers occasional preset designs and exciting flash sales. Their recent posts showcase their Halloween cookie offerings, including decorating kits perfect for Halloween parties, as well as assorted decorated cookies. The pickup date for these treats is October 29th. Additionally, GM Sweets is fundraising to study abroad next semester and appreciates the support of the community.
