Terms and Policy Pickup &amp; Transport Instructions 	•	Orders will be ready for pickup within the designated timeframe with the customer’s name on the order.	•	Items should be placed on a clean, flat surface, such as a floorboard, during transport.	•	If traveling for 20-30 minutes or more, a cooler with ice packs is recommended to maintain freshness.	•	All items should not be exposed to heat or direct sunlight, as butter and chocolate can melt.	•	Customers should proceed directly to their destination, making the bakery the final stop before arrival. Cakes &amp; Cupcakes: 	•	If not consumed immediately, cakes/cupcakes should be stored in their original box in the refrigerator.	•	Cakes/cupcakes should be removed from the refrigerator 30-45 minutes before the event to reach the ideal serving temperature.	•	Cakes/cupcakes should be displayed indoors in an air-conditioned room, no hotter than 70°F, to prevent melting.	•	Leftovers should be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days, or wrapped and frozen for longer storage.	•	A slice/dowel structure guide will be provided. Cake Pops: 	•	Cake pops should be stored at room temperature in a cool, dry place and out of direct sunlight.	•	No need to refrigerate; fluctuating temperatures can cause damage before the event.	•	Cake pops will stay fresh for up to 3 days at room temperature or can be refrigerated for up to a week.	•	For longer storage, they can be placed in an airtight container and frozen for up to two months. Decorated Sugar Cookies: 	•	Should be stored or displayed at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.	•	Do not refrigerate cookies.	•	If heat-sealed and stored in an airtight container, cookies will stay fresh for up to one week.	•	For longer storage, cookies can be frozen in an airtight container for up to three months. Payment &amp; Order Confirmation You pay, I’ll bake! A 50% non-refundable retainer is required upfront to secure your date. This ensures I can source your cutters, materials, and all ingredients. Your payment will also reserve your pickup date. 	•	Refunds can be offered up to 24 hours after payment has been accepted. Unfortunately, after that time, I cannot offer refunds as materials, ingredients, and cutters may already have been ordered. Disclaimer By paying the full invoice or 50% retainer, you confirm and agree to Mama’s Sweet Cakery’s policies and disclaimers. While we will make every effort to match requested colors as closely as possible, exact color replication in frosting or icing cannot be guaranteed due to variations in ingredients, lighting, and application techniques. We do not copy exact inspiration pictures; these are simply inspirations. We will do our best to incorporate your requests while infusing our artist’s unique touch and creativity into the design. Once the order leaves our location, Mama’s Sweet Cakery is no longer responsible for any damages, mishandling, or environmental factors that may affect the product’s appearance, quality, or safety.
