Hi there! I’m Rebecca, the heart and hands behind Baked Better by Bec, a home bakery dedicated to crafting protein-packed, gluten-free, dairy-free treats. My deeply personal journey into the world of healthy baking is a story of transformation, healing, and the unwavering belief in the power of nourishing food.&nbsp;Before I donned the apron, I spent years immersed in the world of fitness as a personal trainer and fitness enthusiast. While I loved pushing my body to its limits and helping others on their fitness journeys, I was trapped in an unhealthy cycle of constantly chasing the “perfect” body and achieving the next fitness goal. This relentless pursuit took a toll on my physical and mental health, eventually leading to hypothalamic amenorrhea, a condition where essential bodily functions stop due to excessive exercise, stress, and insufficient calorie intake. I was left feeling exhausted, unwell, and disconnected from my body and my true self. It was a wake-up call that my approach to health needed to change.&nbsp;During this pivotal time, I began to explore the power of food as a source of healing. I found solace and strength in the kitchen, experimenting with ingredients that were not only delicious but also packed with the nutrients my body needed to recover and thrive.
