My Story

<h2>About The Whimsical Cookie</h2>Started in spring 2022 The Whimsical Cookie began as cottage bakery after Amanda's middle son's interest in creating royal icing cookies. What began has a little hobby rapidly grew into a full time cottage bakery. In February 2025 The Whimsical Cookie transitioned from a cottage bakery to a commercial kitchen and cookie studio in New Albany. The Whimsical Cookie provides custom royal icing cookies, cookie decorating classes and workshops, corporate logo cookies and other baking related workshops. Amanda is the cookie artist behind The Whimsical Cookie who creates luxury boutique style custom cookies and treats. My passion is to help your celebration stand out not only with gorgeous treats, but delicious treats. I do this by sourcing high-quality ingredients, specialty packaging and creating modern creative designs. As a small business, she prides herself on attention to detail and commitment to quality and personalized customer service. Each of her baked goods is made by hand in small batches to ensure the highest level of freshness and flavor. After all of their love and support, I started taking custom orders.I have always loved being in the kitchen no matter what I was baking/cooking. It's my happy place. Fast forward to 2023, I got married, had two beautiful daughters and I have now started helping brides with their dream wedding cake. It has been a huge honor to be apart of their special day. We currently are taking orders for custom sugar cookies, cakes and weddings.

Welcome to The Whisk House LLCThis page is here to info all customers the best way to store cakes before and after events.As well as, the best way to cut and service your cake to guest to maximize your slices.Thank you for supporting my small business! 1. Pick up the cake from the bottom of the box &amp; keep your cake level at all times during storage and transport. 2. Store your cake in an air tight container, in the refrigerator. Keeping away from heat and moisture at all times. 3. Remove your cake from the refrigerator 1-2 hours before serving and allow to reach room temperature. 4. Display your cake on a sturdy cake stand, at least the same size of the cake board. 5. Remove all of the cake decorations before cutting and serving. 6. Store any left over cake in an airtight container in the refrigerator and consume in 3-4 days.
