I will be going over some cookie facts, decorating techniques and you will be decorating your very own set of cookies that you will take home with you that day.</li></ul>Do I need to know how to bake?<ul><li>Nope! I will have the cookies pre-made for you and will give you the recipe in an email after class so you can create your own on your own!</li></ul>What will we learn in class?<ul><li>You’ll learn what goes into preparing royal icing, the value of different icing consistencies, how to color icing, and tricks to fill piping bags (believe me, it’s harder than it looks). You’ll also learn different decorating techniques such as marbling, outlining, detailing, and wet-on-wet. Techniques will vary depending on the class.</li></ul>What do I need to bring?<ul><li>Nothing! Everything will be provided for you including our rather tasty sugar cookies. All you need to do is join us and have fun! Messy decorator? You can bring your own apron or just wear easy-to-wash clothing.</li></ul>What age is best for cookie classes?<ul><li>My classes are best for kids over age 10. Kids under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult ticket holder who joins them for the class.</li></ul>What will I bring home?<ul><li>By the end of the class, you will have created a set of gorgeous cookies ready to dry for 24–48 hours in their own box (provided). And of course, you’ll have new skills, memories, and fun!</li></ul>Can I sign up as an individual or as a group?<ul><li>You can sign up either as an individual, with a friend, or with a whole group. The more the merrier and we'll do our best to make sure you can sit together.</li></ul> Do the cookies contain allergens?<ul><li>Yes, cookies contain common allergens such as milk, wheat, and eggs. All products are made in a kitchen that is NOT nut-free, so please use your best judgment when registering.</li></ul> <h3>Class Cancellation Policy</h3>Canceling more than 7 days before class:<ul><li>Plans changed? No problem! If you need to cancel more than a week before class, just send me an email and I’ll get your refund started right away.</li></ul>Canceling within 7 days of class:<ul><li>Life happens! While I’m unable to offer refunds within 7 days of the class, I’d be happy to prepare your cookie set as a take-home decorating kit for you to pick up.</li></ul>No-show or no contact before class:<ul><li>If I don’t hear from you before the class starts and you don’t attend, I won’t be able to offer a refund or a take-home kit—even if you’re feeling under the weather. Welcome to my sweet corner of the web! I'm Julia, a passionate sugar cookie decorator and an enthusiastic teacher of this delightful art. My journey into the world of cookie decorating began as a self-taught adventure, driven by a love for baking and a keen eye for detail. Over the years, I've honed my skills, discovering the joy and satisfaction that comes from transforming simple ingredients into edible masterpieces. In 2022, I decided to take my passion a step further by sharing it with others through teaching. It has quickly become my favorite thing to do! There's something truly magical about meeting new people who are also eager to dive into the world of sugar cookie decorating and guiding them through the process. My classes are more than just a lesson--they're a fun experience where laughter and creativity flow freely :) My main rental space at Stonehill College is a great local spot for creativity and fun! We've got plenty of room to make a mess, and *bonus* I'll do all the clean up so all you have to do is decorate and enjoy! Printed Logo Cookies

Julia is available to do private classes for your corporate team building event, bridal shower, birthday party, or any fun event you have in mind! You pick the theme of the cookies we'll decorate! Classes include everything you need for a fun day-- including 6 cookies, icing, sprinkles, tools, a box to take your creations home in, as well as my cookie recipe, icing recipe and a power point presentation with step by step directions! We will decorate the cookies together and have a lot of fun doing it :) Typical classes are best for ages 10+ but I can teach Mommy &amp; Me classes or teach parties for younger children as needed with simpler designs so that everyone comes home with something beautiful! I can accommodate up to 30 participants, but no matter the number, each attendee will need their own workspace at a table with a lot of elbow room to work! Message me if you would like to book space at Stonehill College, and I will try to make that happen for an additional room fee. Group events start at $750 for up to 12 participants.
