My Story

Welcome to Ray of Sprinkles! I'm Tayla, a home baker proudly serving customers in the Oak Park area. I have always loved to bake sporadically, but in the past couple of years it became something that I grew a deeper passion for! In 2022-2023, I worked in a bakery where they taught me how to decorate cakes/cupcakes. I have always been artistic and a "jack of all trades" so it became something I really enjoy! Now, here I am. Cookies by Colleen is a local home food artisan based in Madison Heights, MI, specializing in custom sugar cookies. With a focus on quality and attention to detail, Colleen offers a delicious assortment of beautifully designed sugar cookies. Although currently not accepting orders, you can reach out to Cookies by Colleen via email at cookies_by_colleen@yahoo.com for inquiries and future orders. 

Recently, Cookies by Colleen announced the return of their Christmas DIY Kits. Each kit includes 12 sugar cookies, featuring three different shapes, along with three bags of royal icing, two containers of sprinkles, and instructions. The kits are priced at $30 and are available for pick up on Tuesday, December 14th from 6:30-8:30pm or Wednesday, December 15th from 3:30-5:30pm. Quantities are limited, so be sure to message Cookies by Colleen to place an order. Additionally, Colleen showcased her talent by creating Bachelorette Party cookies with a Star Wars theme. In another set, she crafted lingerie cookies inspired by @maisonscustomcookies. Other recent designs include Go Green cookies, Ryder is Dino-Mite!, and Ka-Chow! themed cookies.
