My Story

Welcome to The Cookie Dziner! I'm Christine, proudly serving customers in the Indiana and Michigan area. I became a cottage baker many years ago and started making sugar cookies with royal icing and created my own recipe. I am also a graphic designer and have two degrees in graphic arts. I wanted to combine my love of design with my love for baking and this is where I am at now. I want to take my knowledge of skills I have acquired with college and dabbling in recipes to make the most delicious cookies and add a special touch to them by creating graphics to suit the needs of my clients and target audience, YOU! I can create anything and am passionate about every aspect of the process. I only use the freshest ingredients and make sure that the client is happy with the proof of graphic before the cookies are completed with that step. I am also a creative person and love many different aspects of party planning. I want to be a part of your special event, or occasion. I not only do cookies but like to plan the event for you with balloon arches, matching tablecloths, and center pieces to name a few for all your occasions. Ask me about my party planning services. Sugar Cookies with Customized Graphics

Christine Reemtsma is the talented home food artisan behind Say it Sweetly Cookie Co., based in Niles, MI. As a wife and mother, Christine had always enjoyed artsy and crafty things. However, it wasn't until she tried making decorated sugar cookies for a baby shower that she discovered her passion for cookie artistry. Completely self-taught, she continuously strives to learn and improve her skills. Now back from maternity leave, Christine is accepting limited custom orders again, providing beautifully decorated sugar cookies for special occasions. 

One of the recent highlights of Christine's work includes a set of birthday cookies for a sweet little girl. She loves how the set turned out, featuring adorable bee-themed cookies. Additionally, she created eye-catching medical-themed cookies that were just what the doctor ordered. Christine's creativity shines through in her designs, and she is thrilled to be able to share her passion with the VIP attendees of the Unveiled Wedding Expo and Sale in Elkhart.
