About me!

Hello! I am Xavier Villanueva, an 18 year old devoted catholic and first-generation Mexican American. For as long as I can remember, I've always wanted to become a chef or baker. At the age of Eleven, my Mom began our mini business which I've now turned into Villanueva Cakes. With her help, I've developed my recipes, grown my skills and gained confidence. Seven years later, I still depend on my Moms support and wouldn't know what to do without her or my Dad. Thanks to them I find myself comfortable enough to continue pursuing what I love most. My dream is to take my business to the next level. I know that one day with your help and support, i'll become the next Cake Boss. I feel extremely blessed to be in the position I am in now, and overall thankful to God and you. I am eager to show the world my abilities and can't wait for what God has in store for me

This cake is very fragile due to the light frosting and very moist breads it has. For those reasons, this cake isn't mean't to be decorated, but enjoyed and savored! Not too wet, not too dry, but perfect. Prepared with delicate sponge breads, heavenly whipped cream, the perfect milk combo, and your choice of filling. I am confident after developing my recipe for 7 years, I make one of, if not, the best tres leches cake.

Hi I am Rachel! My passion for baking started in my grandmother's kitchen as a young girl. In high school I started baking goods for friends birthdays. It didn't take long for me to fall in love with sharing my baked goods with people. Now as a mom I love sharing my passion with my children. I pride myself in making everything from scratch(no box mixes in this kitchen!). I now own and operate a Licensed Cottage Bakery from my home in Fernley, Nevada with the best homemade chocolate chip cookies from scratch.
