My Story

Welcome to Megan's Cupcakes! I'm Megan, proudly serving customers in the Granville, Denison University, &amp; the Central Ohio area. Thanks for stopping by!My love for gourmet cupcakes, and the fact I had to drive 30 minutes from home to buy them, led me to start playing around with recipes, and ultimately, begin selling them back in 2014.I come from generations of great bakers that have inspired me to follow my passion too. I remember my grandpa loading up my grandma’s homemade cinnamon rolls &amp; fresh baked bread to drive it all over their town selling it out of the back of his truck! Or my mom’s homemade pies that she’d give out to those she appreciated. There was something so special about their baked goods &amp; the joy they brought to so many people. I hope to bring that same joy to those who order my cupcakes!It’s always an honor to be part of my customer’s special occasions. Michaela Sohovich is a local home food artisan who has a background as an engineer but has followed her passion for baking as a cookier. She is not only dedicated to her craft but also to her family, being a loving wife and mom. Currently, she is no longer taking custom orders but is teasing upcoming holiday sales. Michaela recently shared her creations, including adorable baby shower cookies to welcome a sweet baby girl, as well as a substantial order of 250 cookies for Slalom consulting firm in Columbus, Ohio. Even though she was busy fulfilling the order, she forgot to capture some good photos. Additionally, she showed her support for the Bengals football team and reminded her followers about her Valentine's Day cookie pre-sale, offering limited edition specialty packaging and customizable options. Michaela appreciates the support she receives in her small business endeavor.
