The Fall City Apple Festival is a local home food artisan that hosts an annual festival in September to celebrate the apple harvest in the Snoqualmie Valley. The festival is a family-oriented event that offers a variety of activities, including cider pressing, apple treats, live music, an apple pie contest, a bouncy castle, a hard cider garden, vendor booths, pony rides, food trucks, and more. The festival is organized by the non-profit NWNHC Family Fund and aims to bring the community together while raising funds for a good cause. The Fall City Apple Festival recently announced their panel of judges for the Nile Clarke Memorial Apple Pie Contest, which includes Sarah Perry, a King County Councilwoman, Katie Podshwit, the owner and baker at Chickadee Bake Shop, and Mari Engen, the former manager of the Farmhouse Market. There is still time to enter the contest, with divisions for both kids and adults. The festival also offers other family-friendly activities such as horse rides, a bouncy castle, kids activities, apple pressing, ice cream, and more. The festival takes place at the Northwest Natural Horsemanship Center in Fall City, Washington, and encourages families to come out and enjoy a day of fun while supporting the NWNHC Family Fund and their community programs.
